CLASI-Ayres Sensory Integration® Cetificate Courses

CLASI Ayres Sensory Integration courses taught by first and second generation students of A. Jean Ayres and these courses have been approved by the International Ayres Sensation Integration Education Committee (ICEASI). CLASI ASI courses are made up of 4 sections and 6 modules. In the first section, module 1 is designed for developing skills and knowledge in ASI theory, second section - module 2&3 are designed for skilled usage of assesment tools such as SIPT or EASI for assesment of sensory integrative functions and assement of sensory integration disfunctions, third section- module 4&5 designed for comprehensive interpretation of assesment data for a intervention plan, therapy goals and fidelity measure for ASI treatment, in fourth section- module 6 is designed for evaluation of treatment effectiveness. The fourth section is practical- clinical section participants and specilist experience therapy together.  (lecturerer does ASI treatment with children in a room with SI materilas). 


After completing  all modules the participants will be given  participation certificates signed by CLASI and approved by ICEASI. All the participants having completed all modules will assess a case study based on desicion steps of what they have learnt during training and they will arrange intervention program. Then they will record their intervention in fourty minutes' video and submit it to the assesment board accompanying with required papers. After assesment of video and papers the all participants who got suitable marks will be given international  CLASI certificate and they will become international practicioner.


The target of module 6 is to give skills of clinical interpretation  based on sensory integration theory and to give treatment design and intervention depending on the results.


% 50 of the course is practice based.


After completing the course all the participants will:


  • use clinical interpretation skills together with sensory integration in      order to asses children's behaviors.
  • arrange and apply therapy for children who has sensory integration disorder
  • be able to identify causes of adaptive response
  • be able to identify the relationship between adaptive response and occupational engagement
  • be able to use interventions based on sensory integration on varied  diognosis
  • be able to use sensory strategies in different situations such as school, home and public.
  • be able to use sensory strategies in their intervention programs
